PENCH TIGER RESERVE

The forests of Pench Tiger Reserve support a wide variety of flora and fauna. It represents the floral and faunal wealth of 'Satpuda-Maikal landscape' a unique bio-geographical unit having great ecological significance in central India. These areas have diverse plant community comprising different forest types and species diversity. The major forest type existing in the Reserve areas is the "Southern Tropical Dry Deciduous Forests" grouped as 5A based on the revised classification of Champion and Seth. 13 Notes The entry fees rates mentioned in the above table are valid from 01th Oct 2017 onwards. The Guide Fees not to be recovered on line but to be paid on the day of visit near the gate All the gate of Pench Tiger Reserve , Bor Sanctuary, Umred Karhandla Sanctuary & Tipeshwar Sanctuary will be functional from 01 Oct Onwards. Canter is available at Sillari Gate Only. Charges for canter mentioned are inclusive of guide charges. Minimum 10 persons are required to run the canter at any given time. Boat charges are inclusive of Guide charges. Minimum 5 persons are required to run the boat at any given time. Life jackets are mandatory for each tourist.
14 ** (6am to 6pm tourism) Day tourism (6am to 6pm tourism) in Chorbhauli / kolithmara. Tourist can spend entire day in jungle and do boating in Kolithmara, Can stay at a designated watch tower. No playing of Music. Charges include charges for 2 safaris & boating and is inclusive of guide charges.
