The Pottermania has not been dampened by the serial blasts in Mumbai with Harry Potter fans gearing up with the magical wand to welcome the final chapter of the series into the city.

The youth too are eagerly waiting for Hrithik Roshan starrer Zindagi Mile Naa Dobara, while distributors and cinema hall owners are taking stringent security measures to release the two films, hoping business will be as usual for them this week.

Tarandeep Singh Sekhon and his six friends will be watching Harry Potter at a cinema hall in Andheri on Friday evening. He said,``All of us have always watched Harry Potter films dressed up as Harry. We are too old to do the same now, but we are definitely going to watch the film on the first day.''

19 year old Harsh Thairani will be watching the film at Cinemax Sion with his friends. `` I will be going with my building friends in the evening as I have college in the morning.''

Potter fans are just not scared even after the blast on Wednesday. Says Harsh, `` It is now become a routine with us A Mumbaikar's life moves on. Besides, I think the period after a blast is the safest. Monsoons too have taken off in a big way and the police are also on alert so nothing untoward is going to happen.''

Tarandeep woke up this morning and put his facebook status to ` I wish I was Harry Potter would've put the B------s at ease.''

Meanwhile the stand-off between multplexes and distributors of Harry Potter was called off with the distributors agreeing to take 45 per cent from the business of the film. An industry source said, "The distributors have decided to go ahead and release the film in plexes as they don't want to deprive the Harry Potter fans of the last film."

The multiplexes are hopeful of Mumbaikar's true spirit and feel it will be business as usual for them unless the rain plays truant. Sunil Punjabi, Cinemax Cinemas CEO said, "The response to both movies is tremendous. HP is the largest English franchise and this time it's in 3D. Zindagi has one of the best ensemble of stars produced by one of most path breaking cinema production house. The demand is heavy. Personally, I believe that the blast would not dampen their spirits. Besides, we too have our security on toes.''

Vishal Anand head operations of Fun Cinemas said, ``We condemn Wednesday's blast in the strongest possible words, and are certain the city of Mumbai will shows its true spirit by being together in this hour. As far as business is concerned, two big releases will shine at the box as Potter fans are eagerly waiting for the last one in the series, and ZNMD will bring youth and family to the theater. Looking at the way the latter has been marketed, it will be a success at box office, the other major factor being Hrithik's fan follwing. This is going to be a action packed weekend.''
