Anil Kapoor to take on Shah Rukh Khan

Abbas Mustan and Abhishek Bachchan have realised that releasing Players with Shah Rukh Khan's Don 2 may prove foolhardy, so they have shifted the film's release date.However, the makers of Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol have no qualms taking on Farhan Akhtar's movie. So, MI4, which was scheduled for a December 16 release, has now shifted to December 23, the same date as the SRK starrer.So it seems Anil Kapoor is set to take on Shah Rukh. Of course, when asked about this, Anil laughs, "Yaar, I cannot take on SRK. It is Tom Cruise who is taking him on. I have an interesting role in the movie, and of course, I will perhaps benefit from the huge publicity that will surround the film here. But don't even suggest that I am taking on SRK. He's huge."Anil says his overseas publicists called last week to inform him that MI4 was being pushed straight into the holiday corridor of Christmas and New Year vacations. In fact, the actor will even fly to Los Angeles in August to finish some remaining scenes of his big Christmas release.
